pluriSpin® Human NK-Cell Depletion, for the negative selection of cells, was developed to isolate a clean, vital and untouched NK-cell free cell population from whole blood, buffy coat, umbilical cord blood, bone marrow or similar sample materials. The product labels all NK-cells and leaves the NK-cell free fraction intact. By means of a subsequent density gradient centrifugation - PBMC Spin - all labelled cells are removed from the sample together with the erythrocytes (RBC) and granulocytes. The untouched and unlabeled NK-cell free fraction remains enriched together with platelets in the interphase between plasma and density medium.
