5 ml round-bottom tubes can be used for a variety of laboratory applications, such as sample preparation or sample storage. The tubes are ideally suited for flow cytometry. The combination of our pluriStrainer Mini and flow cytometry tubes can be used for sample preparation and as replacement for Falcon® round bottom tubes with blue cell filter cap (35 μm nylon net). The pluriStrainer Mini can be used to remove large particles from blood cell samples and single cell suspensions obtained after tissue preparation with subsequent tissue dissociation. The samples can be filtered directly into the tubes via the cell filter and avoid clogging of the flow cell, prior to fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS).
