Cell-Free DNA Urine Preserve is packaged in easy-to-dispense, one-time use plastic ampoules. The 5.0 mL of liquid urine preservative is appropriate to preserve individual urine sample volumes from 25 mL to 100 mL. The product is ready to add to urine samples at time of collection, allowing transport and storage prior to cfDNA extraction to allow batch processing, off-site extractions, collection in the field and alleviate concerns about sample degradation. In addition, it eliminates the need to immediately process or freeze samples and allows the samples to be shipped to centralized testing locations at ambient temperatures.
