Genomic scars introduced by homologous recombination DNA repair deficiency (HRD) are response biomarkers for effective PARP inhibitor therapy. HRD measurements have the potential to improve cancer therapy as evidenced by over 100 clinical trials that include HRD today, however standardizing and democratizing HRD measurements remain a challenge.
