Protein Plus BCT is a 5 ml direct draw whole blood collection tube, that is intended stabilise the draw-time concentrations of plasma proteins for up to 5 days* at ambient temperature. This product contains a liquid anticoagulant and proprietary preservatives. By limiting the ex vivo platelet activation and hemolysis, this tube minimizes contamination of blood cell-secreted proteins into plasma, providing sample integrity during storage, shipping and handling of blood samples. Protein Plus BCT is compatible with mass spectrometry and immunoassay-based proteomic analysis. *Depending on protein.
